Naomi Judd was born Diana Ellen Judd on Jan. 11, 1946, in Ashland, Ky. Finding herself pregnant, she quickly got married but not to the father of her first child, daughter Christina Ciminella. Christina, born May 30, 1964, became known as Wynonna Judd when the mother-daughter duo stormed the country charts in the 1980s.
After Naomi divorced, she moved from their latest home in Hollywood, back to Morrill, Ky., with Wynonna and another daughter Ashley.

The Vice
"The Vice" was originally titled "He's In Paradise With A Pair Of Dice,” and when I recorded in 30 years ago, people assumed it was a corny novelty song. But I knew there was something special about it and decided to re-record it for my latest album, "Miles and Memories.."
The updated version brings out the beauty and the emotion of the song, which tells the story of a professional gambler, who gave up love and family for a life on the road.

No Better Days
Everybody has that one friend who they lost touch with but will never forget. This is my story about my longtime best friend, who is no longer a part of my life. I still think about her all the time and re-live our incredible experiences back in the 1970s and 80s, of which there were "No Better Days."more
